Philosophy Behind Morning Routine

Why are morning routines difficult to follow?

Morning routines are like the opening act of a grand symphony, setting the rhythm and tone for the day ahead.

They embody a philosophy of intentional beginnings, urging us to start each day with purposeful actions that nurture our well-being and productivity.

Grounded in consistency and discipline, these rituals foster self-care, mindfulness, and a mindset primed for success.

Yet, amidst their structure lies the wisdom of adaptability, acknowledging that life’s melody changes, and so must our routines to harmonize with the evolving cadence of our lives.

When you adapt your morning routine your life becomes more purposeful and you will have a sense of urgency in your life as you won’t be wasting time watching BS early.

I have seen people who follow rigorous morning routines and some start to scroll the screen early.

I am the kind of person who does lots of experiments in my life to know things very meticulously as I have experienced myself that when I wake up and start to watch my mobile phone directly my whole day is ruined after the screen time of 1 hour in the early morning the day goes like shi*.

Many big personalities have shown their morning routine publicly and you will see a vast difference in it.

….. Have a Look …..

Mark Manson (author of Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck) has a weird morning routine:

It goes against conventional advice.

He waits for the impulse to start writing (Twitter gurus would be mad)

But when you read his books, they’re amazing!

He gets results.

But how Arlo? Does this mean I should do this routine as well?

Not necessarily.

Mark is an impulsive and unpredictable person.

His mind works in sparks. He loves learning about random topics and connecting them. That’s probably why he reads first thing in the morning.

The thing is… he knows that.

And so he uses that to his advantage.

We aren’t 100% like Mark, which is why this routine probably won’t work for me.

But it works for him.

Let’s try another example.

This time, someone the complete opposite — Dan Koe:

His routine is very structured. We are highly focused on priorities. Simple.

And yet his writing is just as high-quality as Mark’s.

So find what works for you by understanding who you are.

Through self-consciousness be aware of your thoughts, emotions, and desires throughout the day.

Let me tell you

If you wake up at 9 am and it works well for you then that is the right routine for you also if you function after waking up at 9 am then you are following the right routine there is no such rule that you should follow.

Follow the right set of rules that works for you if that doesn’t match with internet gurus or successful personalities that doesn’t matter.

I was very particular about the morning routine my morning routine doesn’t remain the same. I change my morning routine accordingly and which works best for me.

This is the YOUTUBE video from a year ago I believe and uploaded 2 months ago :

I used to follow this routine and my perfection towards routine was different at that time as it gradually changed over time.

Here are some things I’ve noticed myself thinking:

  • “I’m more focused in the morning” — so I choose to do it first thing in the morning
  • “I like going about the day feeling proud of myself and free to do what I find fun” — therefore I should do difficult and important tasks as early as possible
  • “I have less willpower at night” — so I use evenings to relax and mornings to work hard

“I believe productivity is a deeply personal thing. We all have different brains and, therefore, different preferences, perspectives, and situations where we feel most effective.” — Mark Manson

I’m sharing my morning routine because it works for me. It might not work for you, but it’s worth testing it out.

Test.
Measure.
Experiment.
Refine.

Once you’ve experimented, it’s time to find out who you are.

What is James Webb doing at Space? L2 Point /Time Travel/Glimpse of History/JWST SUCCESS/ Big Bang/NASA/ Science Exploration

This is the 2nd Blog I am writing about JWST. I think the previous blog was so interesting that I wanted to post a Blog. Lets Begin ; What is the actual mission of JWST? NASA says the James Webb Space Telescope will be “a giant leap forward in our quest to understand the Universe and our origins”, as it will examine every phase of cosmic history: from the Big Bang to the formation of galaxies, stars, and planets to the evolution of our own Solar System. The science goals for the Webb can be grouped into four themes. The first is to look back around 13.5 billion years to see the first stars and galaxies forming out of the darkness of the early universe. Second, to compare the faintest, earliest galaxies to today’s grand spirals and understand how galaxies assemble over billions of years. Third, to see where stars and planetary systems are being born. And fourth, to observe the atmospheres of extrasolar planets (beyond our solar system), and perhaps find the building blocks of li...
