My name is Hansel and I used to have a very unorganized life a couple of years ago. I tried lots of productivity tools and many daily habits/routines on YouTube and researched on the internet.

However, I get to understand the basics but never implement them in life. I just got motivated to do it for some time after watching it on the laptop screen, but never followed it consistently.
I always wanted to do something productive but the distractions or social media always interrupt me in a very unpredictable manner.

How did it start?
Additionally, Whenever I feel like I am lost I just start to write something down and continue to write things down in a more clear manner. Then, when I need to do a certain task I just add it to my notes in the morning time.
Sometimes I used to use Notes to write on my phone and it was not as effective as I try to be. So, I learned about journaling and I had that inner instinct to do it. I started journaling in 2022 OCT 7 and it’s been a year now and I am still doing it. I am consistent in doing it because eventually, I love the process of doing it.
When I initially started I wasn’t that motivated to do it sometimes I left to do it but later on I managed to do an everyday journal.
Let me tell you a funny story it was in 2022 when I was skipping to write on my journal for a week I managed to do a journal of the week in a day by remembering the events that happened and asking the time to my parents. that’s kind of funny.
Moreover, I was enjoying the process and it became my habit that's why I am still sticking to it.
I have a better vision of tasks. Before doing any sort of task I do my research. I try to learn every day In my journal notes I try to add an achievement in a daily routine and learning section so that compelled me to learn daily and do better.
I try to set challenges for myself so I can perform better. For instance, I try to put in to do
x 30 pushups
x 2hr screen time
x no junk or no sugar
x write an article or shoot a video or learn new Spanish or learn new programming languages
So, these types of tasks help me to get better.
Finally, the journal is a whole life package for someone who wants to manage their life. Surprisingly, when you do a journal you learn how to write perfectly and know how to learn and use new vocabulary, and your coherence will get better.
Another compelling aspect of journaling is its role in goal setting and achievement. Through the practice of recording and tracking goals, individuals create a tangible roadmap toward personal aspirations. How did I learn about Journaling?
It wasn’t new for me because I used to do it when I was in middle school. It wasn't that big for us in our life at that time because the way they taught us to journal at that time was a BS and later in life I realized how proper journaling is done.
How a teacher Taught a student to Journal.
I woke up at 6 brushed my teeth and washed my face. I had my breakfast and went to school. I came back from school finished my homework and played for some time then I had my dinner and slept at 8 pm.
It’s sweet and short but it is not what the main purpose of journaling is.
Some might get angry about the above example I gave but my teacher used to teach us like this. I am just trying to say that journaling is not only about tracking what you did in your whole day or tracking events.
What is the main purpose of Journaling?
It’s simply writing down your thoughts and feelings to understand them more clearly.
If you struggle with stress, depression, or anxiety, keeping a journal can be a great idea. It helps you to take control of your mental and physical health.

The reason I have been successful at doing it for a long time is :

- Use a Physical journal as I have 3 notes books with me.
- Write for yourself.
- Get it out of your head.
- Have a dialogue with yourself. Quite absurd right !! This is what you need to do.
